Dr.
Jerry Flatt
Oldest of six children, he was born and reared in middle Tennessee
(Sparta - White County). Father was a coal miner, trucker, carpenter and lighting
industry employee. Mother was
employed in the garment industry and a very busy dedicated homemaker.
Dr. Flatt graduated from White County High
School, Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee, with a B.
S. Degree in Animal Science, and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from
Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Dr. Flatt
resides in Hendersonville with his wife Linda, a librarian with the Sumner
County School System. They have two
children, Steve and Amanda. The
family attends First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
Dr. Flatt has practiced medicine at the
ANIMAL CLINIC-INN since graduation from Auburn with partner Dr. W. G. Shannon.
He enjoys all aspects of Veterinary medicine, especially orthopedic
surgery and internal medicine. He enjoys hiking, traveling, hunting, family activities, and especially likes
fishing.
